One Wild, Active Day Around Seattle

Some days are the best.

When I was asked to be an ambassador for Lululemon , I didn’t know what that would involve. More than a year later, I’ve taught a couple of classes for the store. Mostly, they do crazy awesome things for me. Yesterday was one of them. The Seattle stores rounded up a bunch of ambassadors for a trip they called One Wild Ride. It was a spectacularly sunny day, one where Seattle puts on her brightest blue skies and most vivid mountain views, and we all declare our city the best. Because it is.

The ambassadors came toting multiple outfit changes, running shoes and yoga mats. They put us on a bright yellow school bus with driver Jon and shuttled us around Seattle. We started with a sweaty workout at Crossfit SLU , followed by lunch with a beautiful view of Lake Union, where we talked about developing strengths . Afterward, we drove to Leschi for a lovely practice at Sol Yoga , chugged fresh juice and went for a refreshing jump in Lake Washington. (I also worked on smoothing out my awkward tan lines from last weekend’s hike at Mount St. Helens.)

The activities were great; the people were what made the day. I haven’t spent a whole lot of time with most of my fellow ambassadors . They are a fun bunch. On top of it, they also run kick-ass studios and are amazing teachers. They are inspiring to be around. It was a great day.
